Hello everyone,

I'm having a persistent issue when using VMWare Workstation 17.6.4 on Windows 11 host.

NAT refuses to work correctly. Guest's internet connection turns off and on repeatedly, which affects the guest's ability to connect to the internet.

Have a work around replacing vmnat.exe and vmnetdhcp.exe files using version 17.0.0.34456. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue?

Yes, since somewhere in the 17.x.x we (with hundreds of installations on student PC's both windows 10 and windows 11 hosts) have had this problem.

Host NAT service giving the the guest external network, repeated turns off, with few minutes interval.

We have only seen it when guest uses cabled Ethernet from real external world into the Guest network.

Our students connects a direct peer-to-peer lan network to a PLC.

I have tried to flag this more than once in the forum, but no luck. Basically the NAT service is broken in my view - used to work once, was not a problem before version 17.

Appreciate that you list the 17.0.0.34456 - I will try them out.
