I started encountering this problem since I started to use VMware fusion. It always ask me to shut down after a few minutes I logged on.

Full message in virtual machine window:

==== VMware Fusion has encountered an error and has shut down

==== down Windows.

====

==== Click Restart Windows to start Windows again.  Click Report to

==== collect and to request support from VMware.

====

==== <Ignore>    <Report...>   <Restart Windows>

Clicking <Report...> generates the the report

Clicking <Restart Windows> hangs system.

Anyways the virtual machine just has to be shut down. I nearly cannot use it.

I tried to click report and download the report and decompress the zip file, but when I opened the report I cannot actually understand anything. I also tried to find a solution from internet, but there's nothing. I don't know which files are needed to help find the solution, so I attached the whole thing as a zip.

The computer is macOS Sequoia 15.0.1, and VMware fusion is 13 pro already.

Thanks,

Xiruo

The problem doesn't get solved after downloading 13.6.1

The log generated when you last powered on this VM is indicating that the virtual machine monitor has "panic"ed due to trying to decode an instruction. The information in the log would have to be looked at by a VMware product engineer to see what the exact problem is.

What edition and build of Windows are you running in this VM?

You have an ISO attached to the CD/DVD drive that's named "Win_11_Arm64.ISO". That's a generic name -- usually when Fusion or other tools create the ISO from Microsoft they attach the build number. Can you provide more information on what that ISO is?

Have you tried booting Windows in safe mode to eliminate any third party drivers (including VMware Tools). If you can get it to boot, the output of the winver command in Windows to determine build number might be helpful.

Have you tried booting macOS in Safe Mode, then trying to run Fusion?

This VM was suspended before your last attempt in the log, then appeared to immediately reboot. Can you say what happened?

You appear to have an iPhone connected to the Mac via USB. Can you disconnect it and see if the problem can be reproduced?
