Hey All,

I recently installed Win11 ARM64 using VMware Fusion 13.6 on a new MacMini with an M4 Pro chip and latest MacOs. The installation was easy and all seems to work well except Windows Sandbox. Presently, when I try to add the Sandbox feature (via Windows add/remove features dialogue) the Sandbox feature is greyed out and cannot be added. Is this configuration supported? Do I have to somehow turn on nested virtualization as I had to do on Intel hardware? Any ideas? Thank you.

Fusion on ARM doesn’t currently support nested virtualization. Windows features that need it (like hyper-v and the Windows sandbox) won’t work in a Fusion VM on Apple Silicon. Nothing you can do about that

There is no indication if or when Broadcom will support nested virtualization on M3 and M4 chips (M1 and 2 hardware doesn’t support nested virtualization at all).
