TPM not available to add under Hardware

I am not getting the option to add TPM module under Hardware.  Therefore I am unable to upgrade a Windows 10 machine to Windows 11 despite having encrypted it and enabling UEFI.

Is there some way to get this?

My pc has TPM and it has Windows 11 installed.  Also, I am running the latest version of Workstation.

Given the age of the posting, hopefully you already found the way to resolve this issue. If not, then try to upgrade your VM to higher hardware compatibility level, desirably to 17.x. Once done, you should be able to see the option to add TPM in the Hardware Type list. Note: a VM must be encrypted (Options tab / Access Control) before TPM can be actually added.
