I was trying to install a Windows VM using OEM media from FUJITSU.
However, it checks if it is running on FUJITSU hardware and does not load if that is not the case.
Usually, the option in .vmx file "SMBIOS.reflectHost = TRUE" works, and I used this many times on ESXi and Workstation on Windows.
The hardware running the VM is from FUJITSU and this should work.
I have found that in the vmware.log the following error appears: "vcpu-0| W003: Host: can't find host SMBIOS entry point"
btw. I am running the latest Workstation Pro version on Rocky linux 8.10.
I have searched online and found nothing useful. Only that there are also others with the same problem (with different linux distributions/versions as host)
I will be thankful for any helpful answer.

Mladen
