SketchUp Web on Mac via VMWare

It seems the free web version of SketchUp (a web app available at  https://app.sketchup.com/

does not work on a Windows 11 virtual machine running on a Mac via VMWare Fusion. There are advantages to using Windows instead of Mac OS, so if anyone knows how to solve this problem, that would be helpful.

Here are details:

The free web version of SketchUp works fine under Mac OS, but when I try to open a drawing file with the web app within VMWare Fusion using Windows 11 I get the error message "Sorry, SketchUp appears to have a graphics Incompatibility with your browser" and a swirling blue circle endlessly rotates as shown in the screenshot below

error message
Since it says the problem is browser-related, I tried Chrome, FireFox and Edge. FireFox would not even open the web app, but both Chrome and Edge were able to. However, in each of the latter attempting to open a drawing file would give the above message.
I also downloaded and installed the Windows version of SketchUp (a trial version -- the app itself has a pricey subscription, albeit with more features than the Web app). I was able to open files with this trial version, but before that got this warning message:

After doing some searching, I found that others reported similar problems to mine, but some were able to run the free Web app on a Mac via Windows using Parallels instead of VMWare Fusion.
My testing is using the latest versions of all software under Mac OS 15.5 on an M3 MacAir
Again, if there's any way to solve this problem, I'd appreciate knowing.
Thanks

As far as their application goes, at first glance it’s looking like the application ‘s latest graphics engine is looking for 3D acceleration APIs that the drivers for the VMware virtual graphics adapter don’t provide. I’m guessing here since I don’t know what they are looking for or what their requirements are. If that’s the case you may be limited to using the app’s classic engine -  or run it under Windows on Parellels or under macOS.

For the web app, I’m wondering if it’s looking for WebGL extensions in the browser. You might want to take a look at the thread https://community.broadcom.com/vmware-cloud-foundation/discussion/webgl-not-working-on-windows-11-pro-arm-after-creating-virtual-machine to see if that applies. Again I’m guessing here as I don’t know what they are looking for.
