Replication configuration with isolated networks with different vCenter

Hello,

We have 2 datacenters at 2 different locations. We have deployed vCenter at each location and planned on configuring vSphere replication. We are facing bandwidth issues since the link from the hosts are 1Gbps. We planned on opting for isolated network configuration for vSphere replication traffic with 10Gbps or more speed.

My query is can we create a single VMk adapter and enable  both vSphere replication service and vSphere replication NFC service on the same VMk adapter on both source and target sites.

This is because, we want to use one location as primary and the other as DR and when failover happens, we aim to recover the VMs at DR site and when the issues are fixed, we have planned to configure reverse replication from DR to Primary.
