Option “Use VMware Workstation 17 for Personal Use” for commercial purposes? AND Distribution via Software Management System?

vmware Workstation is now free for everyone, including for commercial purposes.

Should I now select “Use VMware Workstation 17 for Personal Use” for commercial purposes or is there a kind of dummy license?

If I distribute the current version via a software management system. How can I then pass “Personal Use” as a parameter?
I am not yet aware of any parameters.

Good day!

Please note, you will have to select 'personal use' for now to avoid entering license key. However, the Broadcom teams are working on taking out this option and updated product will be shipped in a few weeks.

Also, note that the this change is applicable from 'Workstation Pro 17.5.2' and 'Fusion 13.5.2' version and onwards.
