What version of Fusion did you upgrade from?

Can you describe in more detail what happens when you say "not able to access my Macbook pro desktop"? Does the VM boot, and can you log in?

What version of VMware Tools are you running the VM.

What build of Windows (see the winver application  in Windows to tell you).

In the VM's settings, how do you have the shared folders configured? Are you mirroring the desktop and documents folders? (I've found the mirroring feature to cause more problems than it is worth, by the way. And it's far too easy to mess up your Mac when using it.) If you are running with mirroring, have you tried to disable shared folders in the VM's settings, log into the VM to get a local home folder, shut down the VM, then re-enable shared folders?

I solved the problem myself.

When installing VMware Tools, I connected a DVD drive with no DVD in it. Then It popped an option to install VMWare tools.

And then I am able to access my Macbook desktop from Windows 11.

Thanks,
