Hi, I have a Windows 11 x64 VM with Memory: 18.4GB, Hard Disk (NVMe): 64GB. I am not able to access to this machine anymore. Is telling me to free up space but not sure how to do this without being able to log in the machine. Before not been able to have access I did free up space on the C:/ so I'm not sure why is giving me this error. My host is Ubuntu.
"The file system upon which 'VM' resides is critically low on free space. Allowing this virtual machine to continue may cause it to fail unexpectedly.VMware Workstation has paused this virtual machine because the disk on which the virtual machine is stored is almost full. To continue, free an additional 3.3 GB of disk space."
Also, before this issue I tried to rise the Hard Disk storage but I got this error: Disks can't be expanded if they belong to virtual machines that have snapshots. To expand this disk, first remove the snapshots.
And I did erase the snapshots and still getting this error.
The error message is indicating that the host Ubuntu system is low on disk space. How much free disk space is reported by Ubuntu on the disk that the VM’s files reside on?
