Hi All,
Sorry if this has already been asked/answered. I'm using Aria Operations and I'm trying to set up email notifications for when guest file utilisation goes above 95%.
Currently, I have the alert, notification, outbound plugin in and custom payload template in place however the email that's received is a bit too convoluted for my liking and doesn't show the information I want in an easy-to-read fashion. Here is my current template:
Server :
Virtual Machine Name :
Object Type :
Parent Host :
Parent Cluster :
Parent Folder :
Current State :
Symptoms:
Recommendations:
Alert Creation :
The problem I'm having, is the information displayed by the "Symptoms" parameter which looks like this:
Symptom Name |
Object Name |
Object ID |
Metric |
Message Info |
Guest file system space usage at warning level |
MYSRV1 |
09o435-erlijd30-34435345- |
guestfilesystem:D:\|percentage |
90.399 > 90.0 |
Is there any way strip away the Object ID or change "guestfilesystem:D:\|percentage" to something more easily read etc.?
Ideally, I'd like a block of information that just states the name of the VM, the drive that has become full and the percentage it is now full by whether this be via the Symptoms parameter or some other way.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
