Dear Broadcom,
I used to be able to go to my.vmware.com and download my product, which I was happily paying for.
I now have a broadcom account, but I cannot find my downloads, cannot find how to transfer my licenses, cannot basically find anything. I realise you have acquired VMware and this doesn't fit with your existing ways of working, but as an end user I don't care - this is not a smooth migration.
Please assign my existing licenses to my account so I can find them. I am happy to pay for upgrades. If I were able to do this myself, I would have done so already, so please do not send instructions on how to do it - I tried to follow your emails and nothing worked.
Update: I found the downloads. They are called "Desktop Hypervisor" now. Would it have hurt to put "Workstation" in brackets???
Now I need to create a "site ID" and I try to do this and it asks me to "build my profile". I do not want to build my profile. What I want is to put my credit card details into a web form and get some software. How can I do this please, or get whatever stupid "site ID" I need (I do not care about any other broadcom product) in order to click "buy"?
