 Fusion 13 "MacOS 12 Cannot be installed on this computer" error

I was able to follow the media creation instructions provided by another member (post linked below) to create a Monterrey 12.7.4 image which I was able to boot from, but when doing the install, I run into a "MacOS 12 Cannot be installed on this computer" error. Not 100% sure what that's all about, so if anyone has some tips or tricks to help with this issue, it'd be greatly appreciated.

What Mac are you using (Intel or Apple Silicon) and what macOS version are you running on the host?

Also, can you share the VM configuration - the .vmx file found in the VM's bundle. (Locate the VM in the Finder, right click on it, and select "Show Package Contents". A new window will open showing the files that make up the VM, and the .vmx file can be found there. Also please post the vmware.log file found there as well.
