ESXi 7.0.3 WIN11 VM WOL option Grey'd out

Hello

Any suggestions please with the below matter?

I have Win11 VM. After a while it goes into standby and when I RDP to it it's not there, which then I need to login into the console and wake it up.

I looked at enabling WOL in VM options however its greyed out.

I found another thread suggesting that I needed to change from E1000e to vmxnet 3 and still I have had the same issue, it's still greyed out.

I had a similar issue a while back.  My windows 7 vm was not getting updates in the evening due to be in a hibernated state.  It was not related to the VM but to Windows.  I disabled the Hibernate option in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\ System Settings which did the trick.  I also disabled any other sleep settings in Power and Sleep Setting just to make sure.  Then I set a GPO to lock the screen after 15min of no activity.  Not sure if the issues are the same but figured I would share if it could help.
