I'm reaching out to you to help me deal with an odd erorr that I get whenever I try to delete a port mirror session, actually any port mirror sessions.
Reconfigure vSphere Distributed Switch - A specified parameter was not correct: port[22527] can not be add/edit here, for it was used by same or other sessions.
I'm having this issue with all my 40 portmirror sessions that I've created in a project one year ago. After the project was done I've undeplyed all the VMs that were used in the portmirroring, without deleteing the sessions. The port in the error "22527" is used just in a single session, but It's odd that I get the same error when I try to detele/edit any sessions.
The infrastrucuture runs vsphere 8.0, I've upgraded it two months ago from 7 - maybe this was the start of the issue, I don't know. Also, the infrastructure is a dev/test, I have nothing in prod, so I've actually tried to delete all the VMs, it's empty now, but I still got that error.
If there is someone who encountered this before or has other things that I could try to get ridd of those stuck port mirror sessions I would really appreciate it.
