I am running a vSphere/vCenter 8 lab on AMD B450 Motherboards utilizing Ryzen Zen 2 processors. my vSAN is running NVMe drives as cache and SSDs and I am unable to upgrade to ESXi 8.0 U3c to 8.0 U3d due to compatibility issues
-AMD 400 Series Chipset SATA Controllers (VID: 1033 DID: 43c8 SVID:1b21 SSID:1062 DriverName: vmw_ahci DriverVersion:2.0.12-1vmw)
-Phison Electronics Corporation, E12 NVMe COntroller (VID:1987 DID:5012 SVID:1987 SSID:5012 DriverName:nvme_pcie DriverVersion:1.2.4.15-1vmw)
-Micron Technology Inc, 2550 NVMe SSD (DRAM-less) (VID:1344 DID:5416 SVID:1344 SSID:1100 DriverName:nvme_pcie DriverVersion:1.2.4.15-1vmw)
I do not see any Fling drivers except USB additions. Am I missing community drivers for SATA and NVMe drives?
Is there a method to bypass these compatibilities or am I just stuck with not staying current? Do I have to upgrade each server with a USB image?
I also want to go to VCF9 once it releases...
