Thanks, I hate it.  I absolutally 100% cannot do my job without workstation Pro.  I always purchased it myself because it was affordable and because as I have moved from job to job (all being contract based) the companies who I was contracted to work for never would pay for this.  I needed it for what I was hired for, they did not and nor did they care. A few hundred dollars every once and a while when I needed to upgrade versions was perfect.  Now this new pricing model is going to force me to have to pay an absurd subscription for a single product that I need to use.   This entire acquisition of VMware by Broadcom has been the worst thing to happen to this industry in a very long time.  Broadcom has been known for hardware and obviously has zero understanding of anything to do with software.  You've taken a great product that was easily accessible for individuals like myself and have made it an over priced and hard to access.  Because you have only ever sold bulk volume hardware and chips to large industry up to this point you think that the only customer you could ever have would have to be large industry.  The concept of an individual or small business needing or using your products never crossed your minds. So thanks for destroying this for the small business and individuals who absolutally needed it for their businesses and careers.  You have essentially put them out of business and cost them their jobs by placing this in an unreachable and impractible price point for something that used to be affordable. I used to love VMware, now it is ranks in my most hated companies in existence. Congrats on that achievement.

Yeah, f**** broadcom. Brainless people. VMWare will die, just like most broadcom acquisitions.
