  • 1.  Windows 11 24H2 breaks USB connections

    I just updated my host computer to Windows 11 24H2 and now none of the USB devices connected to my host can be connected to a virtual machine, they're not detected by VMware Workstation Pro 17.6.1.  This is a major problem that needs to be resolved.

    mascf On your Windows 11 24 H2 host please open services.msc and check if VMUSBARB service is running or not.

    The Windows 11 24H2 update broke the service, I had to uninstall VMware and reinstall it.  Now the service is working again.
