  • 1.  Where are the VMware Fusion Documents from the old VMTN Fusion Community

I'm unable to find the content that was present in the VMware Fusion Documents section of the previous VMTN Fusion Community. There ws very useful content contained there. A search of the Broadcom community doesn't seem to be able to find these documents (including the unofficial VMware Fusion for Apple Silicon Companion Guide)

I've been notified by the admins that the content formerly found in the VMware Fusion Documents section were migrated to the Library section of the Fusion Community. Using the search feature of the Fusion community will include these documents in the results.

Pity if you don't know what to search for...
I saw the library section now contains pretty much the counter plus the sink plus the garden plus the garden hose plus the tweezers plus the toenail clipper plus the towels plus the goggles plus the stairway.

It contains all attachments in a forum were people are being asked to attach their log files etc.. for troubleshooting purposes..

Aka the usable contributions are no longer discoverable.

@wila I've been told that they're thinking of another "widget" that would allow a better presentation of the Library section.

They didn't really think out how the Documents sections of the old VMTN forums were used in practice. My guess is the new platform treats things differently and that it wasn't going to be easy to map how things were used into the new platform.  My feeling is they're operating under  "get the migration done first, then come back and try to fill in the missing pieces".

Your feeling is probably nailing it.
The problem with that approach is that corporate wheels m.ooo.oo...oo...o...vve  very slowly, if they even move and not end up getting grid locked or go forward and then backwards again.
