OK... I tried running setup (even though it is a 64bit VM) and it failed on installing the Video Driver again. I tried it one more time and it installed and the Shared Folders are now working.

Subject: What has happened to my Shared Folders after upgrade to Sequoia/Fusion 13.6.1 on Intel Mac?
I upgraded MacOS from Sonoma 14.7.1 to Sequoia 15.1
I upgraded Fusion from 13.5.2 to 13.6.1
VMware Tools upgraded automatically the first time I ran the Windows 11 VM.
I tried turning Shared Folders off and when I turned them back on there was a message at the bottom saying "Shared folders will not be available in the virtual machine until VMware Tools is installed and running." This is weird as a) VMware Tools were previously installed and running and b) they automatically upgraded the first time I ran the VM (as above).
I tried to install from the Virtual Machine menu option. It did some processing an then nothing. Now that menu item is greyed out but says "Cancel VMware Tools Installation", which I can't do as it is greyed out.
I tried running setup64 from the VMware Tools "CD", which starts installing but as it says it is installing the video driver it crashes Windows (Blue Screen of Death) and I can't get any further.

VMware shared folders don't use networking like SMB shares.. They use an internal host-to-guest communication path for the shared folders that looks something like a network, but isn't really.
What versions of macOS and Fusion were you upgrading from?
Did you upgrade the VMware Tools in the VM?
Did you try turning off shared folders in the Fusion GUI, then turning them on again? Or, deleting the shared folders configured on the Fusion GUI, and then adding them back?
Can you post the collect the .log files found in the VM's bundle folder? Locate the VM in the FInder, right click on it, then select "Show Package Contents". A window will open showing the component files of the vm. Copy the files with a .log extension, then create a zip file of those files. Then attach that zip file to a reply to this thread.

Long story short, I was forced to upgrade my Intel Macbook Pro to Sequoia and then upgraded Fusion to 13.6.1 and now I can't get to my Shared Folders.
I get the following error when I try to open the "VMware Shared Folder" from the Desktop on my Windows 11 VM.
As far as I can tell the network is working I can connect to SMB shares on the network using IP addresses. (I hate the way Windows networking works as the share names never work).
