I have been looking around the web a lot for some answers. I have a vxrail 7.0.370 and looking to upgrade to 8. I have found a composite bundle 8.0.3.x that will work. My question is relatively simple.
I upload the bundle in local updates since we have some firewall rules setup that prevent the internet update tab from working. I upload the bundle, it does it's thing.......
Do I have to do a precheck for it to produce the report? Yesterday, I canceled out of it and cancel update, looks like the files are still on the vxrail manager which i suppose is fine. I'm looking to see a full blown report and be able to export it. Every which way I look i can't find such an option. Do I have to run the pre-check to see the full report?
I noticed there's a report but it doesn't really tell me what i'm looking for, just shows items being updated since 7.0.370 that will be updated. I've tried FF and Chrome browsers and logged in with admin equivalent acct. Just wonder if the export option for report is hidden for some reason?
