VRA Catalog Item loops action run

UPDATE:

I figured out, that the whole page of the catalog item is reloading in a loop. The submit button is flashing in 1 second interval.

Any Idea?

Hi,

i have a VRO-Catalog Item with a dropdown which is filled by an action.

If i open the item as admin, i can see the action is triggered twice but the dropdown is filled and everything is ok.

As a user the process seems to loop forever. If i click on the dropdown in the 1 second, the action doesnt loop, i see entries in the dropdown but it continues looping. User has the right to run the action.

Any suggestions?

There are many things may be related:

1. Does that action element have inputs binding to other inputs in the custom form?

2. Can you share the inputs and outputs of the action element? Their types.

3. Can you show the configuration of this dropdown in the custom form?

Thank you so much for the fast answer - was my fault, i referenced a wrong project the user was not entitled to.
