  • 1.  VMWare screen goes black after login - Linux

    I can install VMWare fine. I can install Ubuntu fine. I can operate VMWare and Ubuntu fine until I have to reboot it, then once I log into Ubuntu, and I see the big "Welcome to Ubuntu changelog" screen and try to hit "okay", the screen goes black an the software bricks itself. Please help me figure out what's wrong.

    VMWare 17.5.2

    Ubuntu 20.04.1

    Windows 10
