    Hi

When I try to start VRM services to deploy VMware Replication 6, I get Successfully saved the configuration, Warning: Bad service status: time out while waiting for the server to start,

I have check DNS and FQDN's in network settings and everything look fine?

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this, Thanks

The weird thing is, When I go to manage VMware replication tab I can't see anything in target site, and the local vCenter option is greyed out? only option is remote site, Also, it's a brand new installation of Vcenter and VMware replication 6.0

    Regards

    Robert

    Hi Robert,

The reason why VRMS did not start in timely manner should be visible from /opt/vmware/hms/logs/hms.log and/or /opt/vmware/hms/logs/hms-stderrout.log files.

    Martin

Just give a try>>>>/etc/init.d/hms status if it is not running /etc/init.d/hms start
