The link you posted is no longer correct. Broadcom moved the free downloads and evidently hasn't updated the tech note that contains the direct link.
Log into Broadcom's Support site with your Basic account and go to "My Downloads". You'll see a new link in My Downloads for "Free Software Downloads available HERE". Click on the link and you'll find VMware Fusion as a product. Select that and you'll find the downloads.
The new direct link if you are too impatient to navigate the Broadcom site is: https://support.broadcom.com/group/ecx/productdownloads?subfamily=VMware%20Fusion&freeDownloads=true

Hi! Just a few weeks ago I downloaded VMware Fusion for Mac M1. Now I recently upgraded and got myself a almost new Macbook m4.
But Going back logging in to Broadcom I can't find it to download. There is a way to "build my profile" but then I need a "site id" which I don't think I ever had.
I'm a basic user and at the moment not connected to any company.
Thanks
Rickard
