    Hello everyone,
i have a frustrating problem for a week.i am taking a vmware course but when i install esxi 6.5 in vmware workstation player 16 i get this error:
"Virtualized AMD-V/RVI is not supported on this platform"
My Computer is a Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen 1 20ud005fix with AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U with Windows 11 pro version 10.0.26100 build 26100
I searched a lot on the web and on broadcom community before opening the case but nothing worked for me, I am listing all the steps I tried to perform:

    1. Windows security > Core Isolation > Memory Integrity > disable
    2. Windows functionality > Hyper-V > disable
    3. Windows functionality > Windows Sandbox > disable
    4. Windows functionality > VMP > disable
    5. BIOS > Virtualization > AMD VTM > enable
    6. Local GPO > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard > "Disable Turn on virtualization Based Security" > disable
    7. Windows functionality > Windows Subsystem for Linux > disable
    8. admin prompt > bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

nothing work, omg is very bad. someone can help me? is very important!

This is what I have configured in the Windows Features. Basically I don't have capability of using WSL or Docker Desktop, etc., on my host anymore.  Which is a bit of a bummer, but I do have nested virtualization in VMware Workstation 17.6. I figure it si better to use VMware for all virtualization tasks and there many ways to remote into whatever distro you want. Including, Proxmox, ESXi, and CML Labs. Pros and Cons. Depends what you want to use.

I have a Amd Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Win 11 Pro everything up to date. SVM is enabled in BIOS. Performed all the steps from OP and more..

Run msinfo32 to see if VBS is still enabled.    Look for a post on this forum on other steps to disable VBS.   Micrsoft will enable VBS from the boot loader.    You need to run some other BCDEDIT commands to disable it.

The powershell script described in Phase 3 here did finally do the trick: https://community.broadcom.com/vmware-cloud-foundation/discussion/disabling-hyper-v-hypervisor-on-windows-11-pro-host-to-get-vmware-17s-cpl0-vs-ulm-monitor-mode
