You should be aware that USB-C is a connector only, and not a protocol . . . so would suggest looking at what interface it connects to (USB 1, 3.1, 3.2, USB 4, USB 4 2.0).
The information you've provided is a tad short on specificity, in addition "cannot handle it" is somewhat unhelpful.

Running latest Windows on a 7735HS SOC with host 17.5.2. Attaching a regular USB 3 storage device to guest no problem. Attaching a USB 3 C device to guest and the guest cannot handle it. Guessing USB 3 C at 10Mbs is not yet supported on a guest?
