vSphere Replication

  • 1.  unable to logn to VAMI for vsphere replication appliance

    In my home lab - I am using the latest version of vCenter 5.5 (1623099), Replication Appliance is 5.5.1.0 Build 1618023

    Deployed the vRA and configured the IP, subnet, gateway , hostname etc

    I am able to login as root through CLI from Appliance console. The password for root was set during deployement.

    However when the I open the link for VAMI  - https://192.168.1.15:5480/ -- i am unanle to login as root.

    It says "Unable to connect to server, please try again"

    Any solution ?

    Hi,

    Are you sure that you have deployed the right appliance? The VR appliance is named "vSphere Replication Appliance", and in your screenshot it says "Virtual Appliance Management Infrastructure".

    Hi

    Do you have any firewall ?

    Do telnet to that port make sure port are ok .

    I had to reinstall Replication appliance and after that - it works fine.
