  • 1.  Tile score for partial tile

I have configured 8 partial tiles - basically dropping the exchange VMs from the workload.

I had a successful run, but in reading the configuration guide it sounds like I can not get an overall score unless all workloads are represented - is that true?

Do I have to submit the result file content to VMWare to get a score or is there an application I can use to view the results my self?

    Hi,

Please see the section "Obtain Partial Results for a Failed or Non-compliant Run" in the benchmarking guide.  Basically you'll want to change to the results directory for your run and issue:

    perl ../../tilescore.pl -t 8 -M

I am not seeing that section in the guide.  I did a search in the guide for the section name you provided and came up empty.  I then searched on the perl script name and found a reference to it in the VMMark config file but no where else.  It looks like it is commented out in the config file.

I tried to manually run the script based on what you provided, but it gave me the following error:

    - Standy0.wrf does not exist, exiting.

I am not running the standby vms in any of my tiles, how can I tell it to ignore looking for that file?

What version of the benchmarking guide are you using?  You should have downloaded the latest (2.5.1-20130613).

    -h prints the usage.

    -X skip Standby scoring.
