  • 1.  Set vSAN VM Home Folder.

    Posted 24 days ago

    Hi All

Have a script which configures and builds a vSAN.

Part of this is to build and apply a custom storage profile for the vSAN Datastore and apply it as the default storage policy.

Then to go to the VCSA deployed by the script and apply the policy to the VM (as the VCSA would otherwise still have the default policy)

    This all works fine.

However, whilst all the HDDs for the VCSA are correctly set as expected, the VCSA Home Folder is not configured as expected.

    Any thoughts at all ?

    Are your folder names unique?
I discovered a scenario where I had identical names for all my cluster parent folders with my VM folders, then I would get errors with trying to use the folder name in some commands.
