    Hi all.

    We use HP servers and a custom image ESXI usually. And HP RAID controllers accordingly.

    In the vSphere Client, we see the health status of the RAID Controller (HP P420i).

    We have now purchased new servers from Supermicro with LSI RAID controllers:

    • LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i  

    • LSI MegaRAID 9440-8i

    We use these servers and RAID controllers as hosts VMware ESXI 7.

    But now we don't see RAID and disk status in the Hardware Health section.

    Instead of status we get an error:

    Cannot report on the current status of the physical element

    How can I resolve this error?

    Please, advise which LSI controller models show the RAID status correctly in ESXI 7?

    You probably need to install the CIM provider?
