quick view for a vcpu comparison for virtual machines

Our capacity folks would like to see what our vm's were created with in terms of vcpu and over a year period show if they have changed.

You know Jan1 we provision with 4 vcpu, but four months later. They install sql and need 8. So over the four month period 4 more were added.

VROPS is set to collect 12 months worth of data. Just wondering if there was a voew or metric that could pull that data cleanly. 

Looking for a view to run a report to show the date for a year ago(not creation date) versus what it is the day the report is run.

The vCPU allocation history is stored in the CPU metric "Provisioned vCPU(s) (vCPUS)", of the each VM, adjust the date/time period.
