QNX 6.5.0 VM no longer boots in Workstation Pro

Starting with 17.5.2, we are no longer able to boot a QNX6.5.0 VM.  If we go back to 17.0.2, it boots fine.  We end up getting an unreconverable error:

VMware Workstation unrecoverable error: (vcpu-1)
ASSERT bora/devices/net/vlance.c:2074
A log file is available in "/home/burnhaj/VMs/qnx-target-6.5.0/vmware.log".  
You can request support.  

To collect data to submit to VMware support, choose "Collect Support Data" from the Help menu.
You can also run the "vm-support" script in the Workstation folder directly.
We will respond on the basis of your support entitlement.

I have attached the latest log as well as the vm-support collected data.

@John Burnham Can you please check the vmx file and let us know "e1000" or "e1000e" is mentioned against "ethernet0.virtualDev" tag.

There is no ethernet0.virtualDev in the VMX file.  I have attached it here.

@John BurnhamPlease confirm if during initial creation/installation of QNX 6.5 , if you had to provide the license key.

If NOT, please share from  were you got the ISO.

@Dhairya Tomar During the installation of the QNX 6.5.0 Development tools, yes, we had to provide a license key.

John Burnham Please add these parameters one by one in the vmx file and let us know if the issue still persists-  ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000".

Also try the same with ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000e"

John Burnham Please confirm, that after adding what,  either ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000"  OR ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000e" in the vmx file, things are working fine for you

I added ethernet0.virtualDev = "e1000" and the problem is correctred.
