I'm curious how folks are handling maintenance windows when they want their systems live but essentially shielded from customers making any new requests or changes? With vRA 7 I'd just disable the services and I had a flag I'd set in vRO that I had workflows check and react accordingly. I'm still using a flag in vRO that will queue up things or exit. In vRA I'll do things like unpublish a catalog item but that isn't optimal. I don't really want to have to do that if our inventory grows larger which it will. Also... annoyingly at least in version 8.16 if you use a custom form the form also gets pulled if you unpublish an item. When you put it back it seems like there is no link to the previous forms. Easy enough to put back if you've captured it but I'd rather just leave everything as is. I don't really want to be editing policies either. Anyone willing to share how they accomplish this I'd love to hear of it. I'm hoping I'm just being clueless as to a really easy way to do this. Thanks!
