    Hi all,

I've just installed the evaluation version of vSphere 5 Hypervisor to the server, and I'm facing with one problem - that is after successfully mounting a NFS datastore as ISO repository, it's unable to browse the NFS datastore to find the ISO files.

    My server's configuration:

    CPU: Intel Xeon E5620

Mainboard: Supermicro X8DTI-F (all virtualization-support hardware features are enabled but VT-d)

    RAID Controller: Adaptec 3405

    HDD:

    250GB WD RE4 for vSphere 5

2x1TB WD RE4 as RAID-1 for VM storage

    NIC: WAN-LAN onboard

    NFS Server: Local LAN

I've checked and redo mounting NFS datastore many times so that I'm sure that NFS datastore is not in read-only status. Anybody can help me to solve this ???

Have you also verified that the NFS is exported with the no_root_squash option?

I'm not sure your meaning ??? Here is my /etc/exports:

    /mnt/iso4nfs     192.168.0.0/16 (rw, sync)

You could check this Vmware KB article: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1005948 , but how to set this might be different depending on the NFS server.
