    Hi,

I have installed VMWare Fusion 13 on my mac. I am running Monterey. I have an intel processor. I have downloaded Windows 10 ISO from the windows website. I have dragged and dropped the ISO file onto the area where the software indicates I should to begin the process of configuring a virtual machine. However, the process has stalled at this point. Can you give me any help in identifying what I am doing wrong please? I have attached a screenshot of where I am stuck. Many thanks.

Try creating a custom VM instead of using the drag-and-drop method.

Create the VM with a Windows 10 x64 operating system type, UEFI boot and a new virtual disk. Customize the settings before boot to expand the virtual disk to 64GB, increase the memory to 4GB, and configure the virtual CD/DVD drive to point to your Windows 10 ISO.
