Password

When i go to a virtual machine and put in the password and username that it gives you to use when you log in, it tells me the password is incorrect. Anybody else have this issue?

The answer to this is partly dependent on the operating system of your virtual machine. As such, this has nothing to do with VMware.

Depending on the OS and what is done incorrectly, the answer might, despite of typing wrong:

- you have Cap Lock On now, or you don't have it On now but you had it when creating the password
- your password includes characters which are not in the same place, when you have a certain other keyboard present when now trying to give the password. For instance, from the special characters only " . " and " , " are in the same place when comparing Nordic Layout and English Layout of the keyboard.

The solution to switching the keyboard when typing in the password, depends on what your Operating System is.
