    Hello VMware Community,

We have a constant vSAN "Controller driver is VMware certified" Warning in our environment after updating to 6.7 U3.

4 different drivers are recommended - I have tried ALL of them and every time there is still a warning with recommendation for the other 3 versions. All drivers were downloaded directly from VMware.

    Server: HPE DL380 Gen10
    Hypervisor: VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 17700523
Controller: Microsemi HPE P408i-a SR Gen10
    Current Drivers: smartpqi (67.4150.0.119-1OEM.670.0.0.8169922)
    Recommended Drivers: 67.4054.2.118-1OEM.670, 1.0.4.3008-1OEM.670, 67.4010.1.106-1OEM.670

HCL is current as of 11/2/2021

Has anyone else experienced this or have recommendations?

Check the combination about HBA Firmware and Driver.

, It is likely as Joerg said in that you are applying supported drivers but with a firmware version that does not match these as per the vSAN HCL listing for this device - what firmware do you have in use here?
