I got it from Broadcom Support. They provided a public technote:

Thank you for sharing. Can I ask where did you get 8.2.0 plugin? :)

It seems to be a bug or a lack in the 8.1 vSphere plugin. It is working in the 8.2.0 plugin.

Subject: OU not available in getCustomizationSpec()
Hello,
since vSphere 8.0 U2 it was possible to set the OU for the domain join in the Customization Policy. It works fine when when I deploy and use the Customization Policy in the vSphere UI. I can also see the OU / value in the MOB browser.
But when I read the customization via the getCustomizationSpec(spec) function in Orchestrator, the field / value is not available. Orchestrator v8.18.1.24266232.
Is this supposed to work via Orchestrator, or not - or a bug?
Regards, K
