    Good Day Everyone,

I am performing a backup of some VMs to an Openfiler NFS Datastore using GhettoVCB. One of my VMs is quite large at 125GB. While performing the backup, i get the following error: "Failed to clone disk: Input/output error (327689). DISKLIB-LIB : Unable to get file system ID for filename The destination file system does not support large files (12).".

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Normally I perform backups to an NFS datastore on a Netapp Storevault 500 server with no issues. However, moving to an Openfiler Server with an NFS datastore, this issue has appeared.

    Thanks

Are you sure there is enough space on the disk?

Actually I had to backup the large VM's with the 2gbsparse property which saved the VMDK files in 2GB parts via GhettoVCB script. This worked!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks

Actually the error has happened again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Copying large files to a NFS share is causing the script to terminate.

    Can someone please help?

    Good Day Everyone,

Issue has been resolved!!!!!!!!!!! It seems that the 64 bit edition of Openfiler was the answer. Backups are now proceeding normally with no aberrant behaviors.

    Thanks
