Host: macOS 14.5 M1Max, Guest: Fedora 40 ARM, Fusion 13.5.2
I'm having a problem accessing USB devices from a cloned VM. I started with a Fedora 40 VM that is working normally. If I open the USB settings window I can select the host device(s) I want to pass through to the VM. All works as expected. I shutdown the VM and made a full clone. If I open the settings for the clone, while it is not running, I see the list of devices as expected. But, as soon as I try to start the clone, the USB device list goes blank and I can't get them back. (I should mention this is a clone of a clone.). I've cloned VMs before and not encountered any such problem, so I'm really at a loss.
The vmware.log file has these lines repeating every 5 seconds:
