No internet access

Hi,

i run OS 10.5.5 and i just installed Fusion 2.0.

I can't access the internet from the virtual machine. I tried with NAT and bridged to no avail.

I join a screen shot of my network connection properties, TCP/IP properties are set to receive an ip adress automatically. Can someone please help, i really need that internet access.

Seeing lots of questions about this and no suggestions or resolutions -- and this original post is almost a month old. Everything worked fine prior to the upgrade (even the beta worked) and now the internet is dead for me. I even tried changing to NAT mode, even though Bridged has worked for over a year.

I need a fix to this ASAP.

I use MAC OS , and when I open fusion for windows I see " no internet access"  internet work on MAC OS

Please consider creating a new thread instead of replying to a 17 year old post.

We'll need more information to help get to the bottom of what you're seeing:

• Fusion version
• macOS version
• Model of Mac you're running
• Version of Windows (with build number)
• NAT or bridged networking?
• does Windows see a network adapter?
• In the VM, does running "ipconfig"  report a IP address, gateway, and DNS server?
• Can you ping the gateway from within the VM? 

You might want to attach the vmware.log file for this VM (found in the VM's bundle folder)
