    Hi All,

Can we move the VCF management stack servers to non vSAN storage temporarily. Plan to rebuild the stack without additional hardware.

    Hi,

This should not be a problem if it is just temporarily but define your approach for "rebuild the stack without additional hardware"? Are you planning to upgrade or remove/add hosts in the Management Workload Domain?

    Yes Marek,

Rebuilding the stack with new DNS name without additional hardware. I am figuring out the approach to move the VMs to non vSAN storage and remove the host and reimage.

If you need to change the DNS names of ESXi hosts, vCenter(s), NSX Managers etc. (the whole infrastructure) then I am afraid it is not supported in VCF. You will have to perform the bring-up process again and recreate the VI workload domains.

If this is a production environment and you have no other option but rename the DNS, please create a support ticket with global support.
