Mobile Watchlist and "Per App VPN" functionality

Hi!

Mobile Watchlist is a great tool to monitor the VMware environment... Great!

But I have a question about "connectivity to my company environment":

iOS7 brought a new feature that calls "Per App VPN".

With this it is possible to connect an App per VPN but the rest of the traffic will staying on cellular and will not be tunneled over the VPN channel.

If I take a look to the iOS documentation I can read, that this feature must be implemented in the App himself.

It isn´t a feature that a "default user" can enable in the iOS settings himself, it must be delivered over the App or over an configuration profile.

Is it planned to implement this feature of iOS in Mobile Watchlist?

It will help many customers to keep the monitoring online and it´s not needed to switch between company and private traffic.

This is definitely on our radar, we recognize that it would make using the app securely much easier.  We'll be sure to mention it in the release notes when the app supports it.

Additional feedback:

It will be also helpful, if VMware can build a "Gateway Appliance" like "vCMA Server" for customers they haven´t a VPN functionality implemented.
