Fresh install. No migration.
I may just see if I can get RDP up and running using the keyboard and can login remotely... This feels like a bug in the Arm version of Fusion or this specific version of Fusion... I run Fusion on an Intel iMac and it has no issues whatsoever. It was so good I moved from parallels.
That said, the intel is an order of magnitude slower than the M-series so I really want to get the Mseries up and running. maybe they will come out with a patch or address this in 13.7/13.6.5. I am going to try to pass through a physical USB mouse, maybe Fusion just hates this specific Mac trackpad?

Ok, so you're using a MacBook with a trackpad. Sounds like an out-of-the-box configuration then. Sorry to have asked but just making sure.
Was this a fresh installation of Fusion, or was there a migration from another Mac (using Migration Assistant)?
You might want to collect the logs (all files with the .log extension) found in the virtual machine's bundle folder, zip them, and post the zip file as an attachment to a reply. That might give us a clue to what's the VM might be seeing.
If you can get into the VM and use the keyboard, can you open the Windows Device Manager and get an idea of what USB devices are present? That might also help.

Should have been more specific.
i am using the latest Fusion 13.6.4 and i am using the built in trackpad.....
There is no extra mouse software installed. There is very little software installed at all, since it is only a week old.

First, if you're running Fusion 13.6, please update to the latest Fusion version 13.6.4.
What is the mouse that you're using? Is it using a third-party driver that's used to provide additional functions of the mouse over what the standard macOS USB mouse driver provides? If so, remove that software and see if the problem persists.

Horus,
I am having the same mouse issue as the OP (running Fusion 13.6 on an M3 Mac with OSX 15.5).
Things I have tried:
- Mac restart, Fusion restart, new VM
- Uninstalling Fusion per the kb and reinstalling.
- Input monitoring permissions granted
- Accessibility permissions granted and toggled on and off
- Tried editing the vmx text config file to skip USB (per another thread), then deleted the vm when that didnt work
- Toggled mouse gaming settings in Fusion, to on, off and auto, no difference.
- Tried different profiles e.g custom, default, mac etc. in fusion, no difference.
For me the cursor appears but it wont move or click. Keyboard works as expected.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
-Dan

I've solved this.
Using Mac OS 15.5
VMware Fusion 13.6.3
Settings › Security & Privacy › Input Monitoring › add and enable vmware fusion
It is not enough with
(=) › Accessibility › add and enable vmware fusion

Subject: MacOS Fusion Player 13.5 + Win 11: mouse not working
I am running Fusion Player 13.5 on my macbook pro (macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 (23D60), M1 Pro CPU). In the windows 11 arm virtual machine, the mouse does not work (I can't see the cursor and it doesn't respond to clicks) but the keyboard works. Is there a solution to the mouse problem?
Thanks
