  • 1.  Latest Windows 11 Update Fails Under 17.6.1

    2024-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044285) has been failing nonstop under 17.6.1.  I am seeing Install error - 0x80070002.

    Is this update working for anyone at all?

    I resolved this via downloading the latest ISO for Windows 11 Professional from Microsoft then executing an in-place update.  Doing this updated my guest to the latest released version.
