What kind of problems are you having with the metadata script? Maybe I can help. (attach a transcript of what you did and what error messages you got -- that'll help.).

Hi @Technogeezer, thank you for the help. Got around, rounding up the log file, but I'm having trouble extracting collecting the metadata using the script and tutorial mentioned.
Regarding the background issue; it all started with a broken screen on my Mac and whilst using a secondary screen as a workaround, I must have opened the VM in an attempt to back it up but my Mac must have crashed and become non-responding and when I did get around fixing the screen, I was no longer able to open the instance.
