  • 1.  Is Red Hat GFS on VMware supported?

I have not been able to find a definitive answer on this, so throwing it the community to see if I'm right:

Does either Red Hat or VMware support Red Hat Linux VMs running GFS? We have a set a production level Wordpress blog servers that run RHEL 5 64-bit using shared RDM Physical storage (100GB) and when these VMs are under heavy load the GFS volume freaks out and aborts. We have to power cycle the VMs (pull the plug) and start them back up to get GFS running again.

I have not been able to find that our setup is even supported even though it technically works. Does anyone know? Any official word from Red Hat or VMware on this?

    Thanks.

The only officially supported clustering supported by VMware is MSCS.
