I am new to this you all, and I need some guidance. I understand that it is now Fusion is now open source, I want to know where to start as far as how to install. I went to the open source tab, and under Fusion 11, there are bunch of downloadable files. I am stuck, what do I do from here? I don't know which ones to download, and how to start utilizing them to install the software

Fusion isn't open source. It's still a proprietary product with a proprietary zero cost license built into the product for personal, educational, or personal use (starting with Fusion 13.5.2). Older versions still require you to have and enter a license key - which Broadcom no longer sells.

What you see in the "Open Source" tab of the download site are licensing disclosures for open source components used by Broadcom in the Fusion product.

Unless something has changed recently, Broadcom is not allowing versions of Fusion older than 13.5.2 to be downloaded unless you have an active support contract. Which they are no longer selling either.

Fusion and Workstation are NOT open-source.  The latest versions (Fusion 13 and Workstation 17) have been released as free for all users - no need to purchase a license.  Earlier versions are NOT free.

What you see is a tab for specific open-source components of the software, not the software in its entirety.

Thanks @RDPetruska for the additional info on the contents of the "open source" tab. In particular, the files in that Open Source tab  with "disclosure" in their description are the sources for the open source components used in Fusion. Which they are required to provide as a condition of the open source licenses for the components.

As noted, the files in that tab do not contain sources for the entire Fusion product, so there's no way you can build a copy of Fusion yourself.
