Importing VM into Cloud Director network error

Hi,
I am attempting to import a VM from vCenter into Cloud Director 10.3.3.
I have encountered a VM that is giving an error;
"Cannot import auto discovered VM from VC because port group moref=dvportgroup-xxxx] is connected to VC network none, which is not a valid Organization VDC network."

I have other VMs in that same network/port group that has successfully been imported using this same network.

What can be causing this error ?

Hi,

Please refer to https://communities.vmware.com/t5/VMware-vCloud-Director/Moving-VM-from-vCenter-to-VCD-10-3/m-p/2982636/highlight/false#M13609. I have highlighted the cause of the issue.

If VM is not connected to OrgNetwork before importing/VM Discovery, vCD fails to recognize the network.

- Put the VM out of vCD resource pool

- Assign network to VM which is accessible to Organization

- Drag it back to vCD managed resource pool
